MOZAEX SUMMARY OF WARRANTY AND SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This is a SUMMARY of the Warranty and Service Terms and Conditions. Refer to the Admin Guide or Online For a complete detailed version that is available both online and in the Admin Guide that is shipped with the product.

Non-Refundable Terms – Optionally Evaluate the Product Before Purchasing – The following Terms are required to be read and agreed to by all Mozaex dealers on the Mozaex online registration form before they are approved to become an authorized Mozaex dealer.

The product’s limited warranty does not guarantee functionality or compatibility specified or implied herein this manual. Specifications are subject to change. There are no refunds on Non-Returnable products. Order a Returnable “Evaluation” product if you are unsure about the products ability to meet your needs. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to be fully aware of the products functional limitations and compatibility in advance of purchasing a non-returnable product.

Mozaex offers no-charge repairs on covered products as defined in the following “Warranty Excerpt” Policies section.

Under Warranty Product Repair – Contact Mozaex o receive an RMA number. Products received without an RMA will be returned to sender.

DOA Repairs – Products that are mutually deemed by Mozaex and the customer as being received “Dead On Arrival” (DOA) may be advance replaced by Mozaex. Please contact your Mozaex representative to determine if your product is DOA and requires an advanced replacement.

General Repairs - Contact Mozaex if you have any questions, need assistance setting up or using the product or if believe that you have a defective product and require service. Most issues can be resolved by a Mozaex technician logging into the product.

All Mozaex produced products are warranted for two years to be free from material and workmanship defects under normal use and service. This limited warranty is only extended to the initial purchaser and not to any other customers or users that the initial purchaser may have sold the product to. This limited warranty is contingent upon proper use of the product and does not cover products which have been modified, tampered with, or which have been subjected to unusual physical or electrical stresses. Opening a Mozaex product enclosure without approval from Mozaex’s Support Staff will void the warranty.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Mozaex will not be responsible for consequential damage to its products caused by either internal or external equipment, shorted connections or components not installed by or obtained from Mozaex. Mozaex shall not be liable for damage to painted surfaces due to physical abuse, or excessive use, or liquids, or chemicals spilled upon or inside the products. Mozaex shall not be liable for any costs incurred due to a change in product specifications, installation or other product related documentation. Mozaex is not responsible for informing the customer either in writing or verbally these or any other Terms and Conditions.

Additionally, the limited warranty does not cover loss, damage or costs incurred by or occurred as a result of:

  1. Setup, installation or maintenance of product.
  2. Unauthorized installation or modification of hardware or software.
  3. Misuse, neglect or use in an improper environment including but not limited to its interoperability or lack thereof with other equipment that may or may not be compatible or directly or indirectly attached to it including but not limited over a network including but limited to a LAN or Internet network and includes but limited to incompatible switches (ie: managed or other type of switches), improper cabling and conflicting network devices.
  4. Excessive or inadequate electrical power, power surges, or other irregularities.
  5. Opening an Mozaex product enclosure without consulting with Mozaex.
  6. Incompatibility or non-functionality with any hardware and software added to the product internally or externally. This includes but is not limited to 3rd party control systems hardware and software or remote control software obtained from Mozaex (ie: to integrate with Crestron®, AMX® and other vendors). This includes but is not limited to compatibility with any media being played or loaded such as CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray discs and 3rd party control system hardware and software or remote control software obtained from Mozaex. For example this includes the ability or inability to integrate with 3rd party control system including Crestron® or any other vendors.
  7. Changes in the products specifications.
  8. Customer not being fully aware of the products specifications and/or the products limitations before purchasing the product.

Copyright Disclaimer - While the Mozaex device is shipped with licensed decryption software that is used to play back optical DVD and Blu-ray® discs, it may not be able to load or play some or all DVD and Blu-ray movies. Mozaex does not ship, offer or induce the use of any unlicensed decrypting software on its products.

3rd Party Software Disclaimer: Mozaex is not responsible for and does not extend its warranty or support for any non-Mozaex software including the NetPlay (Boxee™) application. The NetPlay application is a non-charge service that may or may not function depending on the area or Country you using it in, the internet compatibility and the ancillary software needed to run it. Loading/upgrading 3rd party software is done at the owner’s risk.
